Kitchen Ballet - Adults, Teens (and Grade School With Previous Ballet Training)

Intro to Intermediate Beginning Ballet With Full Barre Lessons Demonstrated On Both Sides Plus Basic Centre Technique

Here's an economical and fun way to master ballet--at home.

Master teacher Christine Rich and her demonstrator, Miss Becky, (an accomplished ballet professional) guide you through this at-home ballet course.

Who is this course right for?

-Beginning Adults (ages 13 and up)

-Beginning Intermediate Adults (ages 13 and up)

-Grade school aged children IF they've had quality ballet training.

-Boys/Men who long to do ballet but are too shy to join a public class.

-Students needing more weekly ballet to strengthen their foundation in dance at their dance school.

-BTW, mom and child could do this together at home!

What do you get?

A full ballet barre (all ballet classes begin with "barre"--even professionals), followed by center (away from the ballet barre aka your kitchen counter) requiring balance.

You can see the lesson plan in the "Curriculum." There's also a discussion about purchasing ballet slippers and splits exercises.

How is our Kitchen Ballet Class course unique?

a) The combinations for each exercise (plie, tendu, jete, etc.) are LONG. They aren't short and done, making it ideal as you move out of beginner status and want classwork that's more challenging.

You can start by slowing the speed when you first begin.

b) We demonstrate BOTH the right and the left for you to follow along. Almost NO BALLET VIDEO in the marketplace does this. They film one side only making you rewind and figure out the other foot/side! Very frustrating.

c) We're trained professionals of the highest ballet caliber but balance it so that the beginner to intermediate ballet student can have a sense of fun and accomplishment as they move.
